Kate WILDAUER is the executive director of FocusBio, an educational startup that focuses on outreach and learning initiatives in biodesign education, community engagement and workforce development. She was the CEO of SynBioBeta, a leading community of entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers and enthusiasts devoted to the responsible growth of the synthetic biology field. As part of SynBioBeta, she organized international synthetic biology conferences and events that gave anyone the opportunity to meet with the bright minds building and shaping the bioeconomy. She has a BS from Villanova University in Business Administration, Management and Operations and a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University. Kate Wildauer
